Deconstructing an unexamined belief system

For the record (although anyone who is reading this probably knows what I'm about to say already) let me just state that I am not anti-Christian, or anti-any-religion, really. However, I do have some problems with the predominate belief system that most of Christianity employs, and I commented so on someone else's blog. In response I was made aware of "Kissing Hank's Ass". Needless to say, I enjoyed it immensely, partially because I myself am frustrated with the circular logic employed by most Christian zealots.
