Anyone who is a fan of 80s Hair Metal (like me) and laments its passing (also like me) needs to give a listen to Bang Camaro and pick up Bang Camaro II (again, like me). The blurb I read about them that calls their work "unabashedly derivative" of 80s metal bands like Def Leppard was right on target. The music features lots of thrashing guitar solos and choral vocals, up to 20 voices according to a few sources! In the past I've described The Darkness as an 80s hair metal revival band; Bang Camaro is the ass-kicking zombie they revived.
